Received the ETL for the project I was shoved into when I joined the Newco. Within 6 weeks, I was despatched for my first business trip alone to China to settle outstanding issues with the Listco. And lodged with MAS for a Rights Issue which I was running mainly by myself. Am supposed to be quite happy with myself for the achievements. I made more progress than I ever did in my entire stint in Oldco.

My small boss told me over the phone that I should not be in office after 7. It was my first ETL and I deserve to celebrate. But with whom? Parents were back in AMK. I paused to ponder, but went home alone.

Bought a chicken chop. Grabbed a bubble tea. Watched a movie. With nary a feeling. Deafening silence.

I need some alcohol.
